The Problem A homeowner noticed cold floors, rising heating bills, and a strong odor coming from beneath their mobile home after animals entered the underbelly system.
The Solution Our inspection revealed extensive damage caused by animals nesting inside the crawlspace and underbelly cavity. Sections of the belly wrap had been torn open, insulation was contaminated and compressed, and portions of the ductwork showed moisture exposure and damage from debris and nesting materials. We performed a full crawlspace assessment, documented the damage for the insurance carrier, removed all compromised materials, replaced damaged insulation and duct sections, and restored the underbelly system to pre-loss condition using properly sealed materials designed for mobile homes.
The home was fully restored, energy efficiency improved, and the homeowner’s insurance covered the approved restoration work.
The Problem A hidden plumbing leak inside the home caused soft flooring, water damage, and concerns about mold growth before the homeowner realized the issue.
The Solution After moisture testing and a detailed interior inspection, we traced the source to a leaking plumbing line hidden behind the wall and beneath the flooring system. Water had spread into surrounding materials, affecting subflooring, insulation, trim, and portions of the wall assembly. Our team documented the damage for the insurance claim, removed all wet and unsalvageable materials, dried the affected areas with professional equipment, and rebuilt the damaged sections to match the home’s original condition. Throughout the process, we coordinated repairs to minimize disruption to the homeowner.
The leak was fully remediated, damaged materials were restored, and the homeowner was able to return to a safe, dry, and fully functional living space.
The Problem Severe storm winds caused exterior damage to the home, allowing water intrusion and creating immediate concerns for the homeowner.
The Solution Our emergency inspection identified storm-related damage to roofing, siding, and exterior components that exposed the home to additional moisture intrusion. We quickly secured the property to prevent further damage, documented all affected areas for the insurance carrier, and developed a full restoration plan. Repairs included replacing damaged exterior materials, addressing water-affected areas, and restoring the home to pre-storm condition while maintaining the home’s structural integrity and appearance.
The property was successfully restored through the insurance claim process, and the homeowner regained peace of mind knowing their home was protected again.
